Country records 136 new COVID-19cases

Kathmandu: The country has recorded 136 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, such a number of coronavirus cases was detected in the course of conducting 1,591 tests,

Similarly, there are 390 active cases of coronavirus in the country. According to the Ministry, 27 people are in institutional isolation, four in ICU and one on ventilator support.

A total of 64 people have returned home after recovery in the last 24 hours. Following the increasing cases of coronavirus, the Ministry has urged all to get a vaccine against coronavirus. A new variant of coronavirus, Omicron XBB1.16, has also been detected in Nepal.
