NASA Nepal congratulates newly elected officials of Xpulse Rider Club

Kathmandu: The Nepal Automobile Association (NASA Nepal) has facilitated a congratulatory and goodwill program to honor the newly elected office bearers and members of the Xpulse Rider Club, elected through the club’s recently concluded general assembly.
The program was held at the association’s office in Satdobato, Lalitpur, where NASA Nepal President Dasarath Risal congratulated the newly elected team and stated that NASA Nepal would always remain supportive of the development of motor clubs. Similarly, Executive Director Govind Bhattarai said the association could provide both immediate and long-term support based on the club’s progress report and upcoming action plans. Newly elected President Suvarna Shrestha shared his views on the club’s plans and the expectations from NASA Nepal.
During the program, NASA Nepal Sports and Events Officer Ankit Bhandari spoke about the participation of the club in the association’s annual calendar. Meanwhile, the club’s Vice President Purushottam Rai and General Secretary Sanjib Ram Shrestha shared their perspectives on the club’s constitution, objectives, and name change.
Established four years ago as a riders’ club in Nepal, the club’s general assembly and election were held in Kathmandu last week.
The general assembly, chaired by the club’s founding president, Kundan Shrestha, elected a nine-member executive committee under the leadership of Suvarna Shrestha. Purushottam Rai was elected Vice President, Sanjib Ram Shrestha as General Secretary, and Sanoj Maharjan as Treasurer.
Similarly, Manoj Thapa, Hari Shrestha, Shyam Krishna Balami, Saroj Maharjan, and Durga Shrestha were unanimously elected as members. Kiran Bajracharya, Kamala Giri, Ek Narayan Maharjan, Hari Acharya, Anish Budhathoki, and Yuvraj Panthi were nominated as advisors.
Registered with the Bagmati Province Sports Development Council and operating within the Kathmandu area, the club has also decided to organize at least half a dozen programs at various levels—including racing, rallies, and touring—within Nepal’s motorcycle sector.
