Kathmandu: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' is heading towards Beijing from Hongzhou today.
PM Dahal had a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping on Saturday. PM Dahal said that the relationship between Nepal and China has entered the strategic stage. He praised President Xi for meeting despite of busy schedule due to the Asian Games.
Both the leaders discussed the bilateral progress during the half an hour meeting. The high-profile officials of the two countries had met with each other before the meeting between the leaders.
PM Dahal had also attended the inauguration ceremony of the 19th Asian Games. PM Dahal will be attending various programs today. He would meet his Chinese counterpart Li Qiang on Monday.
PM Dahal's schedule for Sunday
-PM Dahal flying Beijing at 9 am
-The Chinese Minister would welcome PM Dahal at the Beijing Capital International at around 11 a.m. They would move towards the State Guest House.
-PM Dahal will be part of the Nepal-China Business Summit between 4-5 p.m. He would address the program.
-He would attend the dinner organized at the Embassy of Nepal, at around 6 pm.
