Ghanshyam Khatiwada elected to UML Koshi Province Chairperson

Kathmandu: Ghanshyam Khatiwada has been elected as the Chairperson of the CPN (UML) Koshi Province.

Khatiwada defeated Binod Dhakal by 73 votes to become the Chairperson. He received 512 votes. Whereas, Dhakal got 439 votes.

Khatiwada was elected to the House of Representatives from constituency-1 of Morang in 2074 B.S. He had defeated the Dik Bahadur Limbu.

According to the election committee, Raj Kumar Bhandari was elected as Province Secretary, and Jal Barsha Rajbanshi was elected as Deputy Secretary.
