2 terrorists killed in anti-terror operations in NW Pakistan

Kathmandu: Two terrorists have been killed in two separate operations by security forces in Pakistan's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, a military statement said on Tuesday.
The troops conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Dera Ismail Khan district of the province where one of the terrorists was killed after an intense exchange of fire, the military's media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in the statement.
The killed terrorist was actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against the security forces including recent terrorist attacks on a police station and a check post in the province, the statement added.
In another encounter with terrorists in the North Waziristan district, the troops gunned down the other one in his hideout. Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the killed terrorists, the ISPR said.
