Government forms committee to negotiate with demonstrating local-level employees

Kathmandu: The government has formed a committee to negotiate with demonstrating local-level employees.

The government formed the 4-member committee under the coordination of the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration Joint Secretary Kamal Bhattarai. The preparations are going on to conclude the negotiation by today.

Local-level employees claimed the federal civil act was not in their favor. They have been demonstrating against it.
