Citizenship distribution to NRN citizens begins, Kul Acharya receives first citizenship

Kathmandu: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has inaugurated the citizenship distribution to Non-Resident Nepali (NRN) citizens.

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' inaugurated the distribution ceremony by handing the citizenship to Kul Acharya in Prime Minister's official residence, Baluwatar.

Acharya received the citizenship of Parbat district. The door for NRN citizens to receive citizenship got easier after the act related to citizenship was amended on Jestha.
