UAE sets target of 141 runs to Nepal

Kathmandu: UAE has set a target of 141 runs for Nepal in the T20 Triangular series.

UAE opted to bat first as Nepal chose bowling after winning the toss. UAE scored 140 runs losing 7 wickets in 20 overs in Mulpani Cricket Stadium.

Basil Hameed scored 51 and Ali Naseer scored 32 runs for UAE. Other batters failed to shine. Karan KC succeeded in taking 3 wickets. Gulsan Jha took 2 and Sompal Kami as well as Abinash Bojhara took one wicket each.

UAE had 52 runs in hand, losing 4 wickets at 8.4 overs. But, Nepal failed to limit the target.
