Kathmandu: The 2nd biggest festival of Hindu 'Tihar' is approaching.
This year the festival kicks off on 11 November (Karthik 25). People are busy buying and selling essential things for Tihar in the streets of Asan and Indrachowk.
Most of all the worship-related goods are found in Asan and Indrachowk. That's why, the streets are usually packed in festive seasons.
People can be seen busy buying Globe Amaranth garlands, Saptarangi flowers, fruits, utensils, red soil, Bhai Masala, Saptarangi Tika (Colourful Tika), etc for the approaching festival.
