NEA exports electricity to India, worth 12 Arab

Kathmandu: Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has exported electricity, worth Rs. 12 Arab, to India in the past four and a half months.

According to statistics, NEA exported electricity of 12 Arab 50 crore and 8 lakh rupees in the first four months of the current fiscal year of 2080 -81. The amount is 4 Arab 86 crore and 44 lakh rupees more than the compared to the same period of the previous financial year.

NEA exported 98 crore 38 lakh units of electricity for 7 Arab 63 crore and 64 lakh rupees in the first four months of last year.

Similarly, NEA earned 2 Arab 14 crore 76 lakhs rupees in Shrawan, 3 Arab 47 crore 85 lakh rupees in Bhadra, 4 Arab 17 crore 77 lakh rupees in Asoj, and 2 Arab 69 crore 70 lakh rupees in Kartik.
