Dr. Wagle: Axiata affects image of Nepal, seek answer with CEO

Kathmandu: Rastriya Swantra Party (RSP) Vice Chairperson Dr. Swarnim Wagle has said that the finance committee must seek an answer from the CEO of the Axiata Company.

Dr. Wagle suggested the opinion while addressing the finance committee meeting. He said that the CEO must be informed regarding the investment in Nepal.

Dr. Wagle said that the committee must seek an answer from Axiata CEO Vivek Sood as his action gave the wrong message to investors, around the globe, regarding the output of investment in Nepal. He emphasized that the Ncell scandal might affect the upcoming  Investment Conference to be organized in Nepal on April 21-22.

Similarly, Dr. Wagle said that it was necessary to increase foreign investment to promote export.
