11 writ against recommended Portugal Ambassador and Proposed Judge for Supreme Court

Kathmandu: One writ petition has been filed against the government-recommended Ambassador to Portugal Sanil Nepal in the Parliamentary Hearing Committee.

Earlier, the Committee said to file a complaint against Nepal within 10 days.

Likewise, 10 complaints have been filed against 6 out of 9 proposed judges for the Supreme Court.

The Committee will proceed with the hearing upon the recommended Ambassador and Judges. The Committee has called Minister of Foreign Affairs Narayan Prasad Saud for a hearing of the case against Ambassador on 8 December ( Mangsir 22) at 2:30 pm.
