Hearing of writ against proposed judge going on at Parliamentary Committee

Kathmandu: The hearing of the writ against proposed judges for the Supreme Court is going on in the Parliamentary Hearing Committee under the House of Representatives.

The discussion is going on over the writ of the proposed judges. Out of 6 judges, proposed by the Judicial Council, 10 writs have been filed against 3 judges.

The discussion over the writ against Tek Prasad Dhungana, filed by the Nepal Government Deputy Secretary Pushpa Prasad Guragain, is going on at the Hearing Committee.

6 petitions against Proposed Judge Saranga Subedi, 3 against Tek Prasad Dhungana, and 1 against Abdul Aziz Musalam have been filed against them.

There are no writ petitions against Mahesh Sharma Paudel, Sunil Pokharel, and Bal Krishna Dhakal.
