PM Dahal suspects tax evasion on Ncell share transaction

Kathmandu: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has doubted tax evasion in the controversial Ncell share transaction.

PM Dahal, while answering the question raised by the members at the MP's State Order Committee meeting on Tuesday, put forward his doubts.

PM Dahals said,' The feeling of violation of the legal system about revenue evasion and ownership transfer in the government of Nepal in transactions. We formed an inquiry committee after realizing the need for a separate study on the development of Nepal's overall telecommunication sector and the foreign investment impact.'

He said that the decision to form the committee has not been made by the Council of Ministers or the Prime Minister alone. He said, 'It has been formed in a very thoughtful way. I have not formed this alone. I don't have to do anything with this. That's the thing to be understood.'
