Kathmandu: The Hindu religion-oriented organizations have demonstrated against the controversial statement of the Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Aviation Sudan Kirati.

The demonstrators demanded the resignation of Minister Kirati on Thursday. They even demanded the removal of Non-Hindus from the Pashupati Area of Development Trust (PADT), who were appointed by Minister Kirati.

Police obstructed the demonstrators from going to the PADT Office from Bhandarkhal.

Participated Demonstrators were carrying placards and sloganeering 'Sack off the irresponsible minister!', 'Sudan Kirati give resignation!' and 'Stop nonreligious appointments in the religious sectors!'

Minister Kirati expressed his opinion, regarding Christianity on Wednesday. He accused all people of being a traitor, who did not accept Christianity and asked to put them behind bars. The statement has created a backlash against Kirati.
