Kathmandu: Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) Managing Director Kul Man Ghising has warned to cut off power lines of all industries, who have not paid dues.

MD Ghising, in a press meet program on Thursday, said that the strategy of NEA was to cut off the power supplies of the industries, which failed to clear the dues.

Likewise, Ghising organized the press meet due to the increasing debate over dedicated and trunk lines.

According to Ghising, 61 consumers who have taken dedicated trunk lines have 22 billion(22 Arba) and 240 million( 24 crores) in arrears on November 2023( Mangsir, 2080). Among those only power supplies of only 9 industries have been cut off. The arrears of those industries is 12 billion (12 Arba) and 500 million rupees( 50 crore).
