One dies after scuffle between demonstrators and police


Kathmandu: One of the youths, who was part of the scuffle between the police and demonstrators, has died.
Kist Hospital confirmed the death of 23-year-old Sujan Rawat. Amish Pathak informed Nepal Views that there was a red rash on the chest of the deceased. He said, 'The youth was brought to the hospital at 12:40 pm. He was declared dead at 1: 17 pm.'
A scuffle occurred between police and demonstrators after the vehicle of Physical Infrastructure and Transportation Minister Prakash Jwala was set on fire. According to the demonstrators, police fired bullets to control the situation but two were injured.
But, it has not been confirmed that the youth died due to the bullet wound. Rawat seems to have died due to physical charge. Demonstrators have claimed that the man was trying to leak the air of the tire of the vehicle when police fired the bullet.
The injured were taken to the KIST hospital in an ambulance. One of the injured ones died. Police have claimed to fire only tear gases and rounds of bullets in the air.
The students of the Korean language started the protest after they were not allowed to participate in the examination. They demanded to provide an opportunity to participate in the examination.
