Madhav Kumar Nepal: Cultures related to Human civilization should be promoted

Kathmandu: CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairperson Madhav Kumar Nepal has commented on the conservation of the indigenous culture of all communities.

Chairperson Nepal, while addressing a program on the occasion of the  Gurung community festival 'Tamu Lhosar" on Sunday, said that the conservation of the indigenous culture of all communities in the nation should contribute to promoting social unity and further strengthening national integration.

According to Chairperson Nepal, the preservation of traditional festivals observed by various caste and ethnic communities would help to unite the Nepali society and to build a civilized society. Even stressed the need of various communities to preserve their respective unique cultures and festivals in a multi-ethnic, multi-linguistic, and multi-cultural nation.

Chairperson Nepal wished for happiness, peace, prosperity, and progress for all Nepalis within the country and abroad. He underscored building an equitable, cultured society by ending all sorts of discriminations, anomalies, and evil practices existing in society.
