Nepal Police: If Minister Jwala had not gone through Balkumari, 2 students might not have died

Kathmandu: Nepal Police has blamed the Minister of Physical Infrastructure and Transportation Prakash Jwala for the death of 2 EPS Students in the Balkumari incident on Friday,

Inspector General of Police Basanta Kunwar said that the protest showed a drastic turn after Minister Jawala used the Balkumari route on Friday.

IGP Kunwar, during the discussion  with the State Order and Good Governance Committee on Monday, said that the situation became unusual after Minister Jawala's vehicle stopped in the middle of the crowd.

Likewise, he said that the security personnel headed towards the Balkumari route after the information of physical assault and the Minister's vehicle was set on fire.
