Nepal and India sign 4 points agreement


Kathmandu: The four points agreements including energy trade have been signed during the conclusion of the 7th Nepal-India Joint Commission meeting.
Minister Affairs' NP Saud and External Affairs Dr. S. Jaishankar were present during the signing of the agreement on Thursday.
2 countries' Energy Secretaries signed an agreement for India to import 10.000 megawatts of electricity for 10 years from Nepal. Likewise, India will help to launch the manual satellite made by Nepal.
Nepal's Finance Secretary Krishna Hari Puraskar and Ambassador of India to Nepal Naveen Srivastava signed in High Impact Community Development Project (HICDP) implementation agreement. According to this agreement, the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu could directly invest up to 200 million( 20 Cores) in a single project.
Similarly, India pledged to grant 10 billion (10 arba) to Nepal for reconstruction of the earthquake-affected areas. Both External Affairs Ministries inaugurated 3 transmission lines of 132 KV power capacity today.
