Mayor Rai unlocks VC's office in BPKIHS

Kathmandu: The office of Vice-Chancellor of B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Science (BPKIHS) has been unlocked.

Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City's Mayor Harka Sampang Rai had padlocked the office of VC Prahlad Karki on Magh 1.

Mayor Rai locked his office as VC Karki was found nurturing politics in the Health Institute. He recruited the employees of his Secretariat to unlock the office after Biratnagar High Court issued an interim order to open the office.

Despite the opening of the office of VC, doctors and officials are continuing their strike. They have been on strike for a week.

They have been protesting and conducting meetings outside the office of the VC in the evening and the morning.
