Unidentified group shot gold trader dead in Nawalparasi

Kathmandu: A gold trader has been shot dead near Kukurmara of Bardaghat municipality-16, Nawalparasi.

An unidentified group attacked Gajendra Bishwakarma, a permanent resident of Bardaghat municipality-4, on Saturday.

Police said Bishwakarma is a gold trader and was shot on his way home after closing his gold outlet at Susta rural municipality-1. The injured Bishwakarma, after sustaining a bullet injury to his arm, is currently undergoing treatment at the Bhairahawa-based Universal College of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital.

Likewise, District Information Officer and  Deputy Superintendent of Police Resham Bohora said that they were searching for the potential assailants.
