Indian arrested with one kilo of gold at TIA

Kathmandu: An Indian has been arrested with about one kilo of gold at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

According to Airport Security Police, Sharif Ahmad Abdul Ghafoor (35 years old) was arrested with 855 grams of gold brought in a semi-solid way.

He came to Kathmandu via Fly Dubai flight on Monday. Police said Ghafoor has been handed over to the airport customs office, for further investigation.
