School bus hits one to death; Police use tear gas to control stressful situation in Janakpurdham


Kathmandu: A school bus has hit a person to death. The school bus of Angels School hit the person to death.
Five people have been seriously injured in the incident. According to the District Police Office, Dhanusha bus number Pra 2-02-001 Ka 0431 hit Rakhi Devi Yadav (30-35 years old) to death. One child and 5 women have been injured in the case.
All the victims of the accidents were going to fetch soil for the wedding. The locals vandalized the bus. The injured ones have been taken to the Province Hospital, Janakpurdham for treatment.
The furious locals have demanded action against the culprit and compensation to the victims. They have obstructed the Janakpurdham-Jaleshwor road section.
The demonstrators burned the fire on the street. They even laid down an electric pole on the street to stop the vehicular movement.
Police used tear gas to control the situation when the demonstrators tried to set the bus on fire. Despite the attempts of the Police to remove the obstruction, the situation is still stressful.
