Meeting of Karnali Province Assembly postponed

Kathmandu: The meeting of the Karnali Province Assembly has been postponed till Wednesday.

The meeting has been adjourned till Wednesday, after Chief Minister Raj Kumar Sharma failed to reach an agreement between the parties, regarding a vote of confidence. There was a schedule of Chief Minister Sharma taking a vote of confidence in the meeting held on Tuesday.

Chief Minister Sharma has been taking a stance for taking a vote of confidence, despite Prime Minister and CPN(Maoist Centre) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal’ Prachanda’ asking him to step down from his position.

Likewise, there was an agreement between the ruling coalition party that the CPN(UML) would get the post of Chief Minister to CPN (UML) in Karnali.
