CPN (UML)-CPN(Maoist Centre) appeal results to hold special convention in Koshi Province

Kathmandu: A special convention has been called in Koshi Province.

Province Chief Parshuram Khapung called for special convention to be held on 18 April, 2024 (Baisakh 6, 2081).

CPN (UML) and CPN (Maoist Centre) members of parliament (MPs) submitted their appeal on Monday, demanding the convention of the session Likewise, there is  a legal provision to appeal for special convention by members of Provincial Assembly. Based on the provision, Province Chief Khapung called for special convention to be held on 18 April, 2024( Baisakh 6, 2081) at 1:00 p.m.

Previously, Province Chief Minister Kedar Karki had recommended to call the provisional assembly on  24 May,2024 (Jestha 11, 2081).
