Kathmandu: The resolution submitted by members of parliament (MPs) of CPN(UML) and CPN(Maoist Centre) has been passed in the Koshi Provincial Assembly Secretariat.

The majority of MPs registered a resolution after Chief Minister Kedar Karki, who lost his majority when PM Dahal changed the formation of the party, took the stance of giving out resignation or taking a vote of confidence.

The proposal of MPs has been passed by a majority in the provincial meeting on Friday. In a proposal, it mentioned that the Chief Minister should take a vote of confidence.

Likewise, CPN(UML), and CPN(Maoist Centre) MPs have demanded to go through the process of vote splitting after the approval of their resolution.
