Newly appointed Minister Pariyar takes oath of office

Kathmandu: The newly appointed minister without portfolio of Karnali Province Ran Singh Pariyar has taken his oath of office and secrecy.

He took the oath of office and secrecy before Karnali Province Chief, Tilak Pariyar on Wednesday. Appointed as the minister of the CPN (Maoist Centre), he was chief whip of the Maoist Centre in the Karnali Province Assembly.

Parliamentary party leader of the CPN (UML) in the Karnali Province Assembly, Yam Lal Kandel, was appointed as Chief Minister on April 7.

After he was appointed the Chief Minister, he expanded the cabinet today after 15 days and is seeking a vote of confidence tomorrow.
