Lightning kills toddler, injured three

Kathmandu: A toddler from Melkatiya of Ramaroshan rural municipality-7 has died by lightning on Monday.

According to the former Ward Chairperson Kadka Bahadur Bhandari, the lightning killed Gaurab Bhandari (6 years old) a son of Kamal Bhandari. Meanwhile, three persons of the same family were injured, while their house was destroyed by lightning in Dadeldhura.

The thunderbolt hit Devaki Pandeya, his spouse Chandrawati Devi, and his son Dipesh from Koteuda of Amargadhi municipality-3. A local Bishnu Pandeya said the injured ones are out of risk.
