Hiktmat Karki submits claim to be Koshi Province Chief Minister


Kathmandu: CPN (UML) Parliamentary party leader Hikmat Karki has submitted a claim to be Koshi Province Chief Minister.
Karki submitted a claim to the Provincial Chief Parshuram Khapung on Thursday. Provincial Chief Khapung called to file a claim for New Chief Minister on Wednesday. He called for the submission of a claim to be Chief Minister as per Article 168(5) of the Constitution.
The third largest party in the provincial assembly CPN (Maoist Centre) supports Hikmat Karki. He claimed with the signature support of 52 Members of Parliament from 2 parties. Earlier, he had become 2 times Chief Minister.
Likewise, the CPN (UML) and CPN(Maoist Centre) together played a role in dismissing Kedar Karki. He is in Kathmandu to seek legal remedy and preparing to file a petition in the Supreme Court on Thursday.
