Security Alert in New Baneshwor; After NSU Students Demonstration

Kathmandu: Police have tightened the security arrangement after the Nepal Student Union (NSU), a closer wing to the Nepali Congress (NC) demonstrated in front of the Federal Parliament Building.

Pedestrians have been restricted from walking on the south side of Parliament building. The deployment of Police has been increased in the area. NSU demonstrated against the Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane in a cooperative embezzlement case on Friday.

Likewise, Police have arrested 11 students. Even after the demonstration police are providing tight security in the area.
