Agreement on TOR of Parliamentary Inquiry Committee

Kathmandu: The task force has reached an official agreement regarding the parliamentary committee’s terms of reference (TOR).

The task force gave the final shape to the TOR on Tuesday. The final shape came after an informal agreement between leaders on Monday.  According to the agreement, there should be 7 members in the parliamentary inquiry committee, with a tenure of 3 months.

Likewise, the agreement comprises studying the situation of funds flowing from various cooperatives to other companies or organizations including Gorkha Media Pvt. Ltd, check whether the amount was transferred illegally or not.

The agreement also focuses on confirming whether anyone is found to be involved in such illegal or improper activities or not. And recommend necessary measures for the recovery of the amount at risk and to take necessary action for the person involved in embezzlement as per the law.
