Collision between motorcycle and scooter results in death of 2 riders in Lalitpur's Tempo Park

Kathmandu: Two people have died after a motorcycle and scooter collided.

The collision occurred in Tempo Park Mahalaxmi Municipality-4, Lalitpur at 12:30 a.m. on Saturday. The motorcycle (Ba 86 Pa 5237) and scooter (Ba 56 Pa 5056) collided in Tempo Park.

District Police Range, Lalitpur Spokesperson Superintendent of Police (SP) Naresh Raj Subedi said that the riders of both vehicles died.

The scooter rider, Aayush Shrestha (21 years old), a resident of Sankhu died while receiving treatment in KIST Hospital. Motorcycle rider, Lakesh Rai (26 years old), a resident of Sakela, Khotang, died while receiving treatment in B and B hospital.

Police said that the investigation regarding the accident is going on.
