Dr. Wagle: Job creation prime need


Kathmandu: Vice Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and federal lawmaker Dr. Swarnim Wagle said the creation of jobs at local levels is a prime need to curb youths' exodus.
During a press meet organized at Damauli on Saturday, Vice Chairman Dr. Wagle suggested the governments that they provide self-entrepreneurship and skill-oriented training to create jobs. He informed me that road expansion works would be intensified to lessen the hassles people are facing because the rainy season is imminent.
The Vice Chairman however said the eastern belt of the highway was being expanded rapidly while it was slower in the western belt. He claimed that the government had allocated an adequate budget for Tanahun for the coming fiscal year.
According to him, a pressing agenda at present is effective disaster management. So, all sides' cooperation is essential, Wagle stressed. He vowed initiatives for compensation to the people for the loss caused by the first storm.
Meanwhile, the federal lawmaker visited the victims of fire incidents and storms in the district on Saturday itself.
