Police seized unsourced money

Kathmandu: Police have held a man along with Rs 10 million unsourced money from the Durga temple area of Harinagar Rural Municipality-5 in Sunsari district.

According to APF Nepal, a team of Border Out Post (BOP) of the Armed Police Force Nepal confiscated the amount last night during a check of a car (Ba 16 Cha 7613) on its way to Harinagar from the Ghuski border point.  Police also held Isa Ansari (37 years old) of Harinagar-5 for his alleged involvement in the Hundi transaction.

Assistant Spokesperson of APF Nepal Baraha Brigade Shailendra Thapa said the seized money, car and driver would be handed over to the Revenue Investigation Office.
