Kathmandu: The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN)  has practiced an ‘Emergency Rescue’ drill at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

CAAN exercised an emergency rescue drill on Monday as per the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)'s criteria to conduct every 2 years.  In the drill, the demonstration was performed for the rescue of injured passengers and deceased and to control the fire.

The demonstration revolved around how to control the fire and rescue the injured during an aircraft landing accident.
