Kathmandu: The petrol pumps, in Kathmandu Valley, have been facing a scarcity of petroleum products.

This has created a scarcity in the privately-owned petrol pumps in Kathmandu Valley. With this, there is a huge line of vehicles in the petrol pump of the Nepal Army, Nepal Police, and APF Police.

Nepal Petroleum Tanker Drivers Association put forth 7 points of demand and halted the supply of petroleum products from the Thankot Depo on Saturday.

Appointment letters as ensured by the Labour Act, remunerations as fixed by the government, risk allowance, safety alert training every three months, and their involvement in the social security fund are among the demands put forth by the Association.
