All 5 members of family confirmed killed in landslide

Kathmandu: All five members of a family have been confirmed dead when their house was buried in a landslide triggered by last night's rainfall in Malika rural municipality of Gulmi.

Superintendent of Police Rajan Bhujel of District Police Office Gulmi said that Bhesh Bahadur BK (56 years old), his wife 47-year-old Suntali and daughter-in-law Sita BK (30), and two granddaughters Sita and Sapana of Kandelpata in Malika rural municipality-6 died in the fatal incident.

The bodies have been recovered from the debris of the house.
