Madhav Kumar Nepal: Leadership will be chosen from consent

Kathmandu: CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairperson Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that leadership would be selected unanimously.

After a discussion with the top party leaders of the party in a hotel on Thursday, Chairperson Nepal gave that response. General Secretary Ghanshyam Bhushal claimed for the presidency at the party’s convention. Chairperson Nepal concluded that the leadership would be decided by consent after the negotiation.

'Discussion is going on. A unanimous leadership will be elected. The first convention is taking place. There will be no repetition, ' said Nepal. He said since the convention is the party's first convention, a new leadership will be selected without repeating its presidency.
