Satish Kumar Singh attains vote of confidence

Kathmandu: Madhesh Province Chief Minister (CM) Satish Kumar Singh has attained a vote of confidence. 67 members in the Province Assembly meeting, which was held on Saturday, gave the vote of confidence to CM Singh. 34 members voted against CM Yadav.

Speaker Ram Chandra Mandal announced that CM Singh received the vote of confidence. Janamat Party, Nepali Congress, CPN (UML), Democratic Socialist Party, and Nagarik Unmukti Party voted against CM Singh.

CPN (Maoist Centre) and CPN (Unified Socialist) didn’t vote in favor of CM Singh. CM Singh took the vote of confidence after new power equation was formed between CPN (UML) and NepaliCongress. CM Singh sacked 6 ministers on Saturday.
