PM Dahal appeals government bodies to rescue flood-landslide victims and provide relief materials

Kathmandu: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has directed government bodies to rescue and provide relief materials to the flood–landslide victims.

Issuing a notice on Sunday, PM Dahal directed the government bodies. He urged various political parties, civil society, and social organizations to unite during the disaster. He expressed grief over the loss of property in various parts of the country, due to floods and landslides.

PM Dahal said the government has organized a meeting of the Disaster Management and Risk Reduction Committee to minimize the possible damage caused by floods and landslides as there is a forecast of more rainfall.
