One-way traffic resumes on Prithvi Highway

Kathmandu: One-way traffic has resumed on the Prithvi Highway. The debris was removed from the road to allow vehicular movement.

The landslip, that occurred at Mauwakhola of Ichhchhakamana-3 of Chitwan, obstructed the traffic since this morning. Police inspector at the Area Police Office, Muglin, Nirala Bhandari, said that it would however take time to ensure two-way traffic.

Inspector Bhandari said the landslip is continuous and the work for clearance of debris is worsened by the rainfall. Although thousands of vehicles ply on this busy highway, the Traffic Police Office, Chitwan failed to record the estimated number.
