One nabbed with Rs 3.8 million of undisclosed source

Kathmandu: A person has been arrested with Rs 3.8 million in cash, the source of which remains undisclosed, from Kathmandu Metropolitan City-22, Sundhara.

A team of the District Police Range, Kathmandu apprehended Madhav Shrestha (48 year old) of Bharatpur metropolis-15 along with the cash. Police also seized a scooter (Bagmati State 2048 Pa 8130) and a mobile set from Shrestha. Meanwhile, police have nabbed Maniram Poudel (52 year old) of Kathmandu Metropolis-7 who had been absconding after a case of banking fraud was filed against him.

District Court Kathmandu gave permission to arrest Poudel on a banking fraud case on  June 16. A team of Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, Minbhawan, arrested Poudel from Kumarigal, Kathmandu. Police said, further investigation into the case is underway.
