Kathmandu: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said the fear of good governance united CPN (UML) and Nepali Congress (NC).

Addressing the ongoing House of Representatives (HoR) meeting for a vote of confidence, PM Dahal commented upon the unification of CPN (UML) and NC. ‘The fear of good governance united CPN(UML) and NC. This is a regressive journey. The 1st and 2nd parties do not unite in a democratic nation.  Take the examples of America, UK and India,’ said PM Dahal.

He questioned why the agreement would have happened in a closed room at midnight.  'The public understands at what time with which party, in which businessman's house the agreement was done, ' said PM Dahal, ' If the intention was good, would it have happened inside a closed room at midnight?'

He said that the government would not become a government of national consensus.
