Dr. Bhattarai: Step ahead by respecting old one
Dr. Baburam Bhattarai has said the alternative power must not be limited to 2-3 people.
Kathmandu: Nepal Samajwadi Party Chairperson, also former Prime Minister of Nepal, Dr. Baburam Bhattarai has said the alternative power must not be limited to 2-3 people. Launching a book on Saturday, Dr. Bhattarai commented upon the alternative power.
'The situation is like 2-4 people gather, set an agenda, and called it an alternative power. But, that should not be done. That is not an alternative power. That practice is seen in Nepal, ' said Dr. Bhattarai. He said there is a need for thought rather than party.
Remembering his departure from the CPN (Maoist Centre), he said, 'I alone left the CPN (Maoist Centre). I took that step to move forward with a new optimistic thought. But, I neither left anyone nor scolded anyone.'
Dr. Bhattarai said his thinking, ideas, and styles are new despite belonging to an old background. That's why, he emphasized stepping upon a new one by respecting the old one.
