Saurya Airlines crash update: Captain Shakya rescued, 2 bodies recovered

Kathmandu: Captain Manish Shakya has been rescued and sent to the hospital after Saurya Airlines's aircraft 9 N- AME crashed at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

Captain Shakya has been taken to KMC Hospital, Singamangal. 2 bodies have been recovered from the crash site.

The condition of other cabin crews and passengers has not been revealed yet. 19 passengers along with cabin crews were on board. Official details about the condition of other passengers are yet to come.

Saurya Airlines’ Aircraft falls just after take-off

The aircraft left the ground and fell just after reaching some altitude. The aircraft caught fire after an accident.

A team of firefighters and security personnel are attempting to cool down the fire.
