Saurya Airlines Update: Captain Shakya sustains head injury but out of danger

Kathmandu: Captain Manish Shakya has been rescued alive from the crashed aircraft Saurya Airlines.

Captain Shakya sustained injuries on his head, but is out of danger and able to speak. Captain Shakya has been connected with Shaurya Airlines since 2014 A..D. Earlier, he was in the Simrik Airlines.

His treatment is going on at KMC Hospital, Singamangal. The aircraft was about to fly to Pokhara for engine complete repair (C- Check).

According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal  (CAAN ), people on board were airline engineers and technicians.  The aircraft was in preparation to be repaired after being kept in a hangar at Pokhara for a month.
