School bus accident in Pokhara; Death of 1 woman, dozen injured

Kathmandu: A woman has died after a school bus, which was carrying school students, met with an accident.

The woman was an official of the school and was on the bus. The school bus, of L.P. Devkota Memorial, met with the accident at the Fusrekhola, Pokhara.

The school bus, with the number plate Ga 1 K 6319, fell 60 meters below the roads.

There were a total of 24 members, including 22 students on the bus. Deputy Superintendent of Police of Ward Police Office Sundar Shrestha said more than a dozen students have been injured in the accident.

The treatment of the injured students is going on in various hospitals in Pokhara.
