Taskforce to reach conclusion regarding TRC bill
Taskforce to present report by Thursday


Kathmandu: The major three parties have almost reached an agreement regarding transitional justice.
The task force meeting, which was held at the Home Ministry on Monday, met with an agreement regarding the bill related to transitional justice.
A task force was formed to conclude the remaining works of the transitional justice, the member Mahesh Bartaula said the discussion regarding the bill reached nearly an agreement.
Bartaula said a report would be formed by combining the previous agreements by Thursday. Another member, Janardhan Sharma, said the three parties reached an agreement to conclude the conflicting matters of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) bill to release the victims from the pain; they are going through. Ramesh Lekhak, from the Nepali Congress, is also part of the task force.
The next meeting of the task force is scheduled at 8 a.m. on Thursday.
