1 Nepali dies in explosion at India

Kathmandu: 1 Nepali has died after being injured in an explosion at construction in Mawal Taluk, Pune district, Maharashtra, India.

According to the Indian Express, Ajay Kumar Bajrangi Prasad Maurya (22 years old) died while undergoing treatment. He used to work in a company that made spare parts for vehicles and stayed on company premises.

Local Police said that Maurya used chemicals to light the stove for cooking on Thursday but, he was seriously injured when the substance exploded.

Likewise, he was taken to hospital for the treatment. He died while undergoing surgery in hospital on Saturday. Police said that an accidental death case was registered at Sirgaon police station. Further investigation regarding the case is going on.
